Vijit Singh attained his basic knowledge of acting from one of the reputed theatre organisation of India i.e. Bhartendu Natya Akademi, Lucknow. He was trained under some of the finest theatre trainers like Urmil Kumar Thapaliyal, Surya Mohan Kulshreshtha, Jugal Kishore, Atul Tiwari, Anupam Shyam Ojha, Niranjan Goswami etc.

He has acted in several plays, short films, and storytelling sessions. He has performed in more than 14 states of the country like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andra Pradesh, Delhi, Odisha, Jharkhand, Haryana, Bihar, Punjab etc.
To name a few his popular plays are: O Ri Chiraiya, Line Hazir, Ajaat Ghar, Bitiya Mori, Framed as a Terrorist etc. His act in short film alfaaz was also highly appreciated and has lakhs of views on several social media platforms.
